The TAP Program (Treatment and Accountability = Protection for the Community): This program offers evidence-based sex offender evaluation and treatment services throughout the State of Pennsylvania. The TAP program provides a variety of evaluation and treatment services for individuals with sexual behavior problems. Individuals can be self-referred, referred by an attorney, referred by probation/parole or directly by the court. The TAP program is a state and federal contracted provider for sex offender evaluation and treatment. We offer evaluation, assessment, and treatment for individuals with sexual behavior problems. The TAP program utilizes evidence-based measures to assess the risk, needs, and responsivity issues of clients. Our providers are ATSA certified. TAP is certified by the State Board of Probation/Parole's Sex Offender Assessment Board to treat sexually violent predators. TAP staff collaborates with probation officers, parole officers, attorneys, judges, polygraph examiners and all other professionals involved in the treatment and management of sexual offenders in our program.

Treatment is focused on a decrease in client risk to the community, and an increase in pro-social behaviors. Both group and individual treatment are utilized. Psychiatric medication monitoring is provided. At the conclusion of services, we want clients to have developed the ability to intervene prior to potential problematic behaviors and be better able to display appropriate responses to stressful life events. TAP program staff understands the importance of providing high-quality, evidence-based services to clients and make available to those with whom we work our collective experience in a professional manner. TAP offers a full range of services related to sexual offending including evaluation, consultation and treatment. We are accepted by state and federal courts for the provision of such services.
